Default Hanoi backpacker hotel

HANOI BACKPACKER HOTEL
Address: 48 Ngo Huyen - Hoan Kiem District - Hanoi - Vietnam

Welcome to where it all started back in December 04 when a former diplomat's house became the Hanoi Backpackers' Hostel, Vietnam's first international Backpackers' Hostel.
Accommodation

There are 118 oversized, super-comfy bunk beds divided between 3 Nunneries (female) and 8 mixed dorm rooms. All our dorm rooms are air conditioned with fans and have en-suites.
Each bed has its' own huge locker, reading lamp and a convenient shelf for iPods, books and stuff. Linen is included with a very fluffy pillow and a warm duvet in winter.
The rooms are cleaned twice a day and our housekeeping service makes the beds daily, just like Mum did. After all, you are on holiday.
For the couples, families or friends who want a little more privacy we also have 7 private rooms - 2 Double suites (Alice 1 & 2), 2 Triple suites (Alice 3 & 4), 1 double room (The Gimp Room), 1 room with 4 beds (The Bundy Quad) and 1 room with 3 beds (The Den Triple).
If you are travelling as a family we have foldout beds for the little ones which will quickly turn a double suite into a triple or even a room for 4.
To make a booking or to check availability use the booking facility on the right.
The Roof Top Terrace BBQ's and Front Bar

The Roof Top Terrace is the social venue for all our BBQ's, Parties and infamous Sunday Sessions. Located, as the name suggests, on the top of the hostel. It has been the scene of some outrageoulsy huge nights.
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon we fill the bathtub with beer and ice, grill the onion, BBQ the Burgers and turn up the tunes.
On the ground floor of the hostel, the Front Bar is a great place to kick start your night out in Hanoi. With a Happy Hour 2 for 1 drinks from 5 to 6, well timed for tours returning from Halong Bay, and great music it is the place to meet before a random night out in Hanoi.
We throw a party at the drop of a hat! So if it's your birthday don't be shy to let us know, we'll make it one you won't forget.
What We Throw In With Accommodation (free stuff)

Our all inclusive accommodation prices include:
Free ADSL and WIFI internet use

We have a computer available in the lobby or hook up your own laptop to our wireless network.
Unrestricted all day self-service tea 'n' coffee

Available in the kitchen anytime.
Free Breakfast

Fresh fruit, instant noodles, fresh baggetts and hostel made jams 'n' spreads are available from the kitchen between 6:30am to 11am. Self service, so help yourself.
If you are craving a home style bacon'n'eggs with baked beans we have a full time chef, who makes all the breakfast jams and has had loads of practice spoiling us for the last 5 years with bacon'n egg burgers, omlettes, big breakfasts and banana pancakes.
Sunday Sessions (Free Beer)

Every Sunday from 3 pm we fire up the Barbie and throw on a FREE KEG of Bia Hoi (local beer) for guests who are staying in the hostel over the weekend. You can try your hand at pouring your own beer, Vetnamese style, and it takes a couple of practice pours to get it right.
